A wonderfully stylish & playful Ruby set Silver & Gold cuff guaranteed to cause comment & turn heads.
The oblong shaped gold cuff set at the top with a raised silver band around an oval cut out set with 12 wonderfully pink & vibrant cabochon glass filled Rubies.
We have made this cuff using glass filled Sapphires as well which can be seen on our website.
'Glass filled rubies' refers to a treatment which takes natural Corundum (the mineral species name which includes Rubies & Sapphires) which is heavily included and fills the natural fissures allowing the Corundum to be cut as a non-included Ruby crystal would be - the treatment is non-reversible and enables jewellers to use these wonderful gems without the price tag of non-treated stones.
Polished Brass, Palladium & Gold Electroplated
We plate all our items with Palladium, before plating with Gold. Gold 'bonds' with Palladium better it does with any other metal, thereby giving the plated added durability as well as a better 'finish'
